11 January 2017 The seats are composed of an aluminium seat-pan, steel seat-back and two steel plates. The plates are pre-drilled and need aligned before drilling, cleco-ing and, after deburring, are riveted using stainless steel rivets.

The seat-back is then drilled and cotter-pins fitted to make sure it stays in place.

The seat will be fitted to the plane much later on. In the meantime, upholstery can be worked on.

But, to give you an idea of how it will fit, Patricia has offered it up to the forward fuselage here.
